About Milhauz


The Milhauz Institute for Education, Art and Identity was founded in 2007 by a group of educators that aims to build a meaningful social environment through collaboration on the educational challenges of nurturing forms of identity and identification which reflects and responds to the unique characteristics young professional adults. 

Today, Milhauz Institute works to build a vital community in three main directions:  
First, it provides an interdisciplinary platform for young professionals who initiate and develop innovative methodologies and conceptual materials in fields of culture, media, education and art;
Second direction concentrates on initiation and implementation of the educational, social and cultural projects developed by the motivated young professionals – members of the institute. The last direction gives way to cultivating and integrating educational, media and social innovations, their adaption and expansion onto the daily lives.

Milhauz targets cosmopolitan issues relevant to every individual in the contemporary world. Milhauz builds connections. While any given academia offers content, which often remains relevant for a certain circle of people; and while any given organization/company offers a format to apply only limited quantity of skills and knowledge; people, the vast social cohort, remains in the ambiguity of choosing to identify themselves with one circle or the other. In its daily practice, Milhauz draws connections between the social cohort, professional formats and the inventive content.

The practice community developed and bred by the Milhauz institute, today, works in and on the interdisciplinary projects connecting the applied arts, business formats and necessary attachments for the motivated young professionals.

The Milhauz Institute is committed to such values and principles as social commitment, cultural ethics and active change through art, collaborative creativity and educational space. Milhauz is involved in the life of the community by supporting resources and creating a cultivating platform for young leaders. 

The Milhauz Institute works in the field of culture, formal and informal education and urban tendencies. Today it is a vital platform for established international projects in Europe and Israel, which empower the existing partnering programs by cultivating innovative educational concepts for the young professional adults living in Israel and other countries.
